7" singles

The easiest and best way to make an image of a 7" single and sleeve is to use a scanner.
It is also possible to make a decent image using a digital camera.

1: Labels and sleeves should be scanned separately.
2: Both A and B label have to be included.
3: Both sides of picture/factory sleeve has to be included. You don't have to send an image
    of a plain white sleeve.
4: The spindle hole should have a white background
5: The final image should be no smaller than 650 x 650 and not below 200 dpi.

Please look at the image examples below.
The aera around the label should be vinyl. Do not scan the label while the single is inside
a hole cover.
Factory sleeves should be scanned without the single inside.

You can make a special sleeve to scan the label safer. I took a plain white hole cover and cut a square hole into it. Please look at the example below.

Important reading:

When sending images of a single, please include all information found in the run-out groove area.

The final image should be no smaller than 650 x 650 and not below 200 dpi.
Please be aware of this, if you send images that are not cropped. Large images are preferred.

I will do the following changes to the images I receive:

1: I will add a watermark to the image.
2: I might have to crop the image.
3: I might have to change the image size.
4: I might have to use a program to make photos of covers appear more "flat".

Images already posted on ZappaFrenzy can be replaced, this may be due to new and better pictures.

Bootlegs will not be listed on this site.

You will get full credits for your contribution.

12" maxisingles

I use a digital camera and a tripod to make images of 12" labels and covers. It is also possible to use a scanner.

1: Both A and B label have to be included.
2: Both sides of the cover have to be included.
3: If the Maxisingle has a special inner sleeve or insert, include a picture of this.
4: the spindle hole should have a black background
5: The final image should be no smaller than 650 x 650 and not below 200 dpi.
6: Make sure, that the photo is in focus when using a camera.

Please look at the image examples below.
It is important, that the digital camera has the same angle as the 12" cover. Photos will not be looking good, if the camera has a different angle.

All the images of the cover and label have been made with a digital camera.
